Privacy Policy
We collect as little as we can, use it only to run LuminMinds, and never sell it.
What we collect
- Your Google account details. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo, and a unique account ID. We do not receive your password or access to anything else in your Google account.
- Your profile. The username you choose and any changes you make to your name.
- Your progress. Which parts you have fitted is saved in your browser’s local storage on your device.
- Messages you send us through the contact form: your name, email address and message.
- Basic technical logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
To sign you in, show your name and photo in your account, keep usernames unique, reply to your messages, and keep LuminMinds secure. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Where it is stored
Account data is stored with Supabase, our database and sign-in provider. The website and contact form are hosted by Netlify. Sign-in is provided by Google. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms, and may store it outside your country.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your progress and settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Children
LuminMinds is made for learners, including school students. Anyone under 13, or under the age of digital consent where they live, should use it with the permission of a parent, guardian or teacher.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account data while your account exists. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time through the contact page; we will delete your account and its data, and progress stored in your browser can be cleared by clearing site data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell signed-in users about significant changes.
